Remember “Little Moe”, “Gigi” and “Neil”? Those Germ-Zapping Robots Are At It Again!

Are you a Star Wars fan? Last year, TheBrilliantlySimpleBlog.com featured an invention from Texas-based Xenex Corporation that resembled R2-D2 from the infamous movie. Xenex’s robot that has the ability to zap HAIs (an acronym for Healthcare Associated Infections – one of the leading causes of death in the United States.) It uses UV light disinfection technology.  Those cute and cleverly named robots we wrote about last October are now ready to zap more threats. Not only can they zap the ebola virus, but now anthrax too. Keep it up, Xenex! and may the force be with you.
